| Put a order in Last Thursday online. Item was in stock. Got a phone call Friday, that hung up. Rang them back and they said they would call me back shorty....never got my call back. They not there on a Saturday nor Monday, they never rang me back today (Tuesday) and took me ages to get through to them....
Anyway when i did get through they told me my item was no longer in stock...even through it was when i placed order.
Not very happy with this easy, cavalier attitude. WONT BUY FROM THEM AGAIN.
I had to do all the work, after they had taken the cash.......Fooking shocking.

| ive not had any propblems when ordering from them but even if i order online i always check the stock via the phone before ordering as websites stock levels arent always accurate and then it leads onto a whole load of messing about with refunds and such i learnt that when ordering from landwarrior when trying to order a 416 from them took 7 days to return the money :/ |

| Same as the rest, not had any problems but i've heard they can be a bit quick to take the cash and run if there's a slight problem. |

| The last couple of £500 guns I have bought from Land Warrior have had nothing but problems, so I guess all the retailers have their problems. I love Action Hobbies but I guess Andy had a bad day with em.............. Pity the retailers dont help their CUSTOMERS more |

| Aren't action hobbies more a wholesaler? I suppose that if most of your business comes from huge bulk orders, the occasional small scale customer would probably be easier to overlook if you're a bit shoddy.
Carl what guns did you get from LW? _________________ Peace sucks a hairy asshole, Freddy. War is the motherfucking answer.

| I got a CA M24 which was a shoddy piece of crap and I just bought a G&P SR15 with wobbly bolt catch that clangs around when tilted. Just crap quality for £500 so going back.
Don't get me wrong, they have been giving me back my money no problems so can't fault em there, but when they send out guns I KNOW they have had in their hands prior to sending out and they still pack em with minor faults hoping i'll just live with it, it really doesnt inspire confidence. Call me old fashoined but when you spend good money on top brands, you expect a fair deal. I'll probably give em another go but i'm really losing th will to deal with them.
I guess since Airsoft World seem to be on the wind down, I'll either carry on with Zero One and Action Hobbies, or start importing more cheaper guns. |

| They messaged me back on facebook and basically said they are not refunding the money for the postage even though i've not got the service that i payed for, There excuse was that the courier van crashed on thursday and couldn't pick the gun up, im happy with this explanation but this is no excuse for not emailing me to let me know the parcel was going to be sent late even though Thursday i had received an Email saying the parcel had been sent and to expect it Today.
This is a damn shame coz i liked LWA but i feel a 20 second email would have saved all of this and its the fact ive been sat around all day like a plumb waiting for a package they said had been sent, i feel the Least they could have done would be to refund the postage cost as its now going to be a 5 day postage when i payed for 24 hour so for that reason i wont be using LWA again if this is the customer after care you get when a cock up happens. _________________ |

| Tbh Chris not saying you didn't have a case but you did go a bit nuclear on them before you talked to them about the issue. They've always been excellent with me, but on the occasion anything has gone wrong they've always sorted me out (and they've refunded me postage on at least one occasion i can remember). _________________ Peace sucks a hairy asshole, Freddy. | I'm in the same boat, ordered a gun Wednesday, got a Parcel Force email thursday, but the tracking data was blank so I rang them up Friday and they explained that the Parcel Force van never showed up, they were very apologetic but it's not their fault, it's Parcel Farce being twats. _________________ Si vis pacum para bellum| paperpirate wrote: | | fair enough, better to have a quiet site than one on fire |

| well i haven't had nothing refunded, i wasted and entire day waiting for a parcel they said was coming and paid for a service that i didn't receive. if this had been one of my customers i wouldn't have thought twice about refunding there postage and if there is ever a problem with postage i always Email the customer and let them know, it only take 20 seconds and its no excuse not to. There attitude was they don't really care if they lose a customer for the sake of refunding a few quid, so for that reason i wont be using LWA again If a customer pays me money for a postage service then its me that has to refund the customer if anything happens (even if its the postal service fault) As the customer has paid me for the service not the postal service and i must issue the refund then take it out with the postal service after and get compensation, that's how it works. but anyhoo im over it now onward and upward _________________ |

| That's pretty delusional thinking, it's still being sent out 24 hour shipping, they still have to pay Parcel Force, Parcel Force are still delivering it so they are still providing you with the shipping service. If it would have taken them longer to get the order boxed up and ready for shipping it would be the same, 24 hour shipping is only valid on working days, it's not being sent out 48 hour, it's still being sent out 24 hour shipping. If I order a DVD from amazon and pay for next day shipping it's still next day shipping even if it takes them 3 days to process and send the order out.
I agree they should have probably sent an email out explaining that Parcel Force didn't turn up but they are under no obligation to refund the postage costs.
EDIT: And this is derailing the original thread which is about Action Hobbies, not Land Warrior. _________________ Si vis pacum para bellum| paperpirate wrote: | | fair enough, better to have a quiet site than one on fire |

| Actually if they thought the van was on the way, and they put the gun ready to be picked up and then sent the email then, that doesn't mean you're delusional. They don't mark orders as despatched when they'll have been physically taken from the building, they'll have marked orders as despatched when they put them in the pickup box.
No offence Chris but they'll have been dealing with a few more orders gone awry right next to closing time than you would have been. Two working days (which is what it was) is still a very good turnaround time.
You did get pretty aggressive towards them pretty quickly, as Matt says their terms and conditions cover this (and also I've had 24 hour delivery items from LWA arrive the next day. I've had 24 hour delivery from other retailers take up to a week). I just had an american gear manufacturer send me the wrong items; I emailed them, calmly explained the problem, and they've sent the correct items out and let me keep the others!
LWA still have the best customer service record out of any UK retailer. They've given you a decent reason why your gun didn't arrive and they're covered on their T&Cs. Technically they've done nothing wrong. It'd have been nice for them to refund your postage, but they didn't have to. I'd reckon you've pissed them off by being confrontational on their facebook page before contacting them and calmly trying to sort it out.
Either way, sorry you didn't get your gun dude. _________________ Peace sucks a hairy asshole, Freddy. War is the motherfucking answer.

| When I said that it was pretty delusional thinking, I meant that they should refund the shipping costs is delusional thinking. The way they explained it to me was when they process the shipping details through Parcel Force it is Parcel Force who email you with all the shipping information and not them. I figured there was something weird going on when I noticed that the tracking information was empty, so I called them up and they explained the situation to me. _________________ Si vis pacum para bellum| paperpirate wrote: | | fair enough, better to have a quiet site than one on fire |

| no offense taken, but i never got so much as a sorry you had to wait around all day waiting for a parcel you was emailed about.
When customers buy stuff from me i know every single email that gets sent to them from Ebay and i find it very hard to believe that a company like LWA who have been trading for years don't know what confirmation emails get sent out, I agree its unfortunate what happened with the Parcelforce van, but its no excuse to not email all the customers from that day to explain the situation, I've had to do it before when i was down for a day with flu just before xmas because i respect all my customers and they have paid the money for the service, so for a company like LWA to say "We didn't know that email had been sent" is complete rubbish, they should know every single Confirmation Email that goes out. regardless of where its sent from.
But nothing is going to happen now and ill just have to wait for it to arrive (even though this has pretty much taken the fun out of it) and learn from it.
